Journal!!!

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."

I like this quote because it cheers me when I feel like I should have done this earlier.
Moreover, it makes me keep working. Life is an experience. All your life is made of a bunch of moments. To live your life better, you want to enrich your moments. Moments can be fulfilled by your daily experiences. Therefore, experiencing is the most important in your life. Sometimes, you might worry that you are behind compared to others. But, no worries. As long as you are doing something, you are in progress.

Journal 8: Optimistic Quote

"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty." - Winston Churchill

I should say I am optimistic most of the time. However, I am trying not to be. It may sounds odd. Let me tell you why. I barely assume possible negative results when I commence something. Errors or not working are not in my world. But in real life, unexpected things always happen. You got to be aware those possibilities so you can prepare if something happen. In my point of view, assuming negative results can be a pessimistic attitude. Hence, I am too optimistic so I am trying to adapt a little bit of pessimism.

I read Sherry's and Lien's.

Journal 7

Prompt: Compare your best friend (or friends) with yourself. How are you alike or different? You can compare any areas of your life - hobbies, beliefs, likes & dislikes, etc. If you're different, how can you be friends? Be sure to use the organization and unity strategies we've studied for Compare/Contrast essays.

Eun-Sun, Yun-Hee, and I who graduated from the same high school are best friends. We'd like to call us 'power puff girls' because we 'were' or 'are' troublesome. :)
We are indivisually different but there are somethings in common.
Eun-Sun is super nice and likable. No one doesn't like her. She never makes trouble with somebody. I'd like to say she is a giving person. On the other hand, Yun-Hee is a kind of demanding, which I like. She used to be the first one in gradewise, which means she was the straight 'A's girl. If there was only one paying attention to the teacher, that was her. The third girl whose English name is Sue, was the student who was in coma in the classroom. :) Ok, I am being honest. I wasn't a very good student for teachers because I loved taking a nap during classes.
Some other friends said that "You, three, have nothing in common. How can you guys get along together as best friends?" Well, that is not true. We have a lot in common. We tend to laugh with certain things what others don't think those things are not so funny. We understand each other without explanation.
When we hang out together, we feel totally comfortable. We understand each other throught each other's eyes.

Journal 6: Dr Dolittle

Journal 6: Dr Dolittle

Prompt: What would happen if animals could talk? What are some of the questions you would like to ask animals?

I have a little white puddle in Seoul, its name is Bori. Sometimes I could feel Bori talks. I actually asked her some questions. Most of the time, she just looked at me instead response. But sometimes she really answered my question with showing me reactions. The word she hates is 'Mok-Yok' which means 'bath' in Korean. If she heard this word, she will bark. Even if it is 2 in the morning, she would not care about barking. She just hates that word because she hates taking a shower.

I sometimes want to ask her that who does she like the most in our family.
Every my family members has different opinions on this question. Everyone thinks Bori likes ______. Mom believes the god to Bori is herself. My dad thinks Bori loves him most. My sister thinks Bori really wants to follow her any time. But I think that I am the one who can understand Bori better.
So I want to ask her, who do you like best?

Sean, Can you fill the above blank for me? Couldn't find the word. Thanks!

Journal 5: Life's Soundtrack
Armin van Buuren ft Sharon den Adel - In and Out of Love

When I listen to this song, one very strong image pops up in my mind. I know this song through my boyfriend. He loves DJing music and he used to DJ. When you are apart(I was in Seoul, he was in California), he sometimes sent me some links for music he wanted me to listen to. This song is one of them and became my favorite song. So this song reminds me the time we missed each other.

Journal 4: Weather

Journal 4: Weather

I like really cold, freezing weather in winter of Seoul.

In the morning, -10 degree celcius, as soon as I open the front door, the truly cold air comes in my nose. It makes my nose frozen. If I have runny nose, I don't need to worry about it because It is going to stop running.
When I get into the car, the seat and the steering wheel are blocks of ice.(My car in Seoul has leather seats). I love the feeling when I get into the car in really cold morning. It is, of cours, hard to stand. But I like that moment.
I already miss the weather in Korea.

Journal 3: Old Fears

Journal 3: Old Fears

I am afraid of large size of plants especially sunflowers.
when I was a child, near my house there was a quite big sunflower field.
The sunflower trees were pretty tall so I could not see their faces closer but the their trunks. When my day lift me up to the sunflower's head, I first saw it carefully. I cannot forget the moment. I screamed and cried.
It looked like a big stuffed animal's head without eyes, nose and lips!
And it had lots of seeds. Scary.
Few years later, when I was in elemetary school, on the way to school from home, there are some sunflowers in someone's front yard. So I usually went through detour.
When I was in high school, the big change happened.
One of my friend forced me to face the sunflowers head.
I was not really happpy about it but she said "This is just a small creature which can be controlled by human." So I tried it.
The result was great. I am no more afraid of sunflowers.
But I still don't like them. :)
